Our HSE Policy
We are a renowned Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, Navigation Systems, Marine Safety Equipment & Life Saving Apparatus and Lifting Inspection & NDT Services Specialist involved in the design, service & certification, sale, trading, supply, repair, maintenance and upgrade Company.
We AL-NAJM AL-THAQIB CONTRACTING COMPANY (NTE) considers Occupational Health, Safety and Environment as substantial values to be systematically addressed as part of its business operations to maintain sustainable growth and expansion. In alignment with that, the top management shall promote the means and practices to establish a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly culture among all employees within the organization, emphasizing NTE commitment to:
- Comply with all applicable HSE laws and regulations, moreover, proactively lead
- initiatives that shall positively impact the environment.
- Pursue a rigorous program for the establishment of HSE objectives, compatible with
- the organization’s strategic direction that addresses the organization’s context, taking into consideration all relevant stakeholders.
- Persistently involve all employees at all levels to promote the awareness and
- responsibility towards health, safety and environment while empowering them to
- lead or participate in actions towards planning, execution, maintenance, and
- continual improvement of our occupational HSE management system.
- Adopt excellence in designing our operations, products, and services to ensure the
- protection of environment, pollution prevention, efficient use of resources and
- energy, waste reduction and safe disposal, actively considering its reuse where possible
- Assure the application of methods to assess and identify all HSE aspects, risks and
- opportunities involved in our operations, products and services while defining
- effective control measures to mitigate them.
- Provide and maintain safe and healthy work conditions for employees, subcontractors and
- others who may be affected by our operations regarding work related injury and health issues through identifying and eliminating potential source of danger for human and environment.
- Periodically assess the status of HSE management system in our organization through
- structured audits, monitoring and measurement of processes, management reviews
- and apply continual improvement to enhance its performance.
Management extends its full support to execute suitable processes / systems and to ensure all employees, visitors, sub-contractors, and the Environment is protected from harm (injuries, accidents, pollution)
NTE will set objectives and Key Performance Indicators for the organisation and ensure that these are communicated and understood at all levels. A health, safety and environment culture are about:
- Health and Safety- protect employees, visitors, sub-contractors from accidents and ill health.
- Environment- reduce pollution and protect environment.
To support & review both this policy and the objectives of the organisation all employees will receive appropriate training to carry out their tasks in an effective manner. Managers must be seen to lead by example in pursuing the above objectives. NTE will review this policy for its effectiveness on a regular basis.
